Wranglers Continue Pursuit of 1st Place Without Justin Bond

The 100 Mile House Wranglers will have to continue their pursuit of first place without their leading goal scorer.

Williams Lake’s Justin Bond is out, possibly long-term, as he has been diagnosed with mono.

Losing Bond is less than ideal admits Coach Dale Hladun, but the club’s depth should be able to overcome his absence:

I look at the right side of our lineup… Bond is a huge part of our program but, on our right side, we still have Povelofskie, Zimmerman, Meeker and Page… and those are four pretty damn good players to fill that hole.”

The club will also be missing defenseman Josh Odelein with a lower body injury until the playoffs.

It’ll be a tall order this weekend as the Wranglers prepare for games versus Kelowna Friday, Chase Saturday and Kamloops Monday.
