Car robbery

A Williams Lake resident has been released from hospital after being knocked unconscious and robbed near Western Avenue and Carson Drive. Lake City RCMP say that around 9pm on April first a 39 year old female was sitting in her car with the window down when one or more suspects approached the vehicle and struck her unconscious. They then proceeded to steal her purse which police say contained a substantial amount of cash. No description of the suspects or the number of attackers is known. Police are asking that if you have any relatable  information to contact the Williams Lake RCMP (250-392-6211) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
