It’ll be a homecoming of sorts when Deborah Kinisky launches her first book at a coffee shop in Quesnel tomorrow.
Quesnel is a setting in “Her Story: Victim to Victorious,” the inspirational speaker’s first book, which is why travelling from Edmonton to the Cariboo for its release just made sense.
“I lived in Quesnel from ’84 to ’86. It was a very special place for me, so to have my book launch there is really awesome.”
Kinisky feels there are lessons to be learned from the retelling of her life:
“There is life and love after abuse. If you have love in your life, you can accomplish anything… and I accomplished sharing my life with the world, and hopefully teaching other people how to overcome and be victorious as well.”
The newly minted author will be present from eleven until two at Bliss Coffee Shop.
