The City of Williams Lake is encouraging residents to us its’ new online submission form for bylaw services related complaints.
Senior Bylaw Officer, Brendan Foote says the city has moved to a ‘written only format’.
“What the form is, is it automatically gets submitted into our tracking database for when we get bylaw complaints and what it also does is it sends an email to the officers advising that we’ve received a complaint.”
Foote says it improves accuracy when they are responding to complaints as a lot of the information is already provided.
“It just makes it easier and more efficient when dealing with complaints.”
A link to the online complaint form can be found on the City’s webpage.
Residents who do not have web access can pick can pick up paper forms at the City Hall front counter, or at the Fire Hall.
