nomination deadline march 27th for quesnel volunteer citizen of the year

The search is on once again for the 2016 Quesnel Citizen of the Year.

Chair of the Volunteer Citizen of the Year Committee Ron Paull says they have received some nominations and would like to see more before the deadline of March 27th.

“We’re encouraging individuals and services clubs and groups and organizations to think about people within their groups or organizations that may be deserving of being awarded the Volunteer Citizen of the Year”.

Paull says nomination forms can still be picked up at the Quesnel Cariboo Observer and the front desk at City Hall.

The very first Quesnel Citizen of the Year Award was given out back in 1980 and 2015’s Quesnel Citizen of the Year honor was given to Rose Gaetz.
