Has Spring sprung in the Cariboo Chilcotin?
The calendar says it has but we went to a professional for his opinion, Doug Lundquist, Meteorologist for Environment Canada.
“It looks like from the middle of this week to the end of the week we’ll start to see temperatures a little bit above average. As far as the rest of spring goes, we’re kind a sitting on the fence. We think that it was cooler in the winter, the latter part of the winter especially, and now we’re thinking we’re going to get closer to average for spring”.
When asked if there was a chance we may see any snow Lundquist said it wasn’t entirely impossible and if we did it wouldn’t last long because the day time highs will be in the high single digits.
