TRU will be marking this year’s Williams Lake Gala in true Canadian fashion.
Chair of TRU Grit, Mark Nairn says the theme this year is “Oh Canada!” in part of the country’s 150th birthday.
“Obviously we want it to be a bit of a surprise, but definitely we’re going to encourage people to come in their best Canadiana and I’m sure you’re going to see a lot of red and white.”
Over $130,000 in scholarships and awards has been raised since the first gala in 2012.
The TRU Williams Lake Gala 2017 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 8.
