Horgan says he believes the “n” in NDP should stand for normal, regular people to make sure that it’s not just the wealthy and the connected that have their views represented in the legislature and he feels that Elliott fits that bill.
He added that Cariboo North is a very competitive riding and he feels that the current MLA has not been speaking on behalf of the people in the region, but on behalf of the Premier instead.
