Prelim Set For Accused In Large Drug Bust In South Cariboo

A date has been set for a Preliminary Inquiry for a group of men charged in connection with a large drug bust in the South Cariboo.

Richard Poudrier, Robert Webster, Cameron Krajnyak (Cry-knee-ack), Ryan Delorme and Douglas Middlemiss are all due back in court on November 1st.

Three days have been set aside.

All are facing charges of Production of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Poudrier is also facing firearm related charges.

100 Mile House RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence on Abel Lake Road back in June of last year.

Police say they seized between one and two million dollars worth of dried marijuana and marijuana plants as well as several firearms and more than 7 thousand dollars cash.
