The Sam Ketcham Pool upgrade project at the Cariboo Memorial Complex in Williams Lake is coming along swimmingly.
Councillor Laurie Walters says it’s on time and on budget and has these updates on the work that’s going on.
“The parking lot is well underway and it’s going to be paved very shortly. The new lap tank is scheduled to be completed by February 2017 and then it will be open the current will be closed for construction of the new leisure pool. Full completion of the project is still on track for October 2017 as planned”.
Walters also said that there has been some challenges with unexpected costs and that was mostly for the electrical and mechanical systems but overall the project budget is right on target
